Default shift linkage binding up?

i have never had a problem with my shifter/linkages/trans before and i guess i still havent but last night when i was driving it started acting like the linkage was binding up somewhere? i was doing some very "spirited" driving and then i got to just cruise through town and it had a weird resistance will going from 3rd to 4th and from 4th to 3rd. it doesnt fight to go into gear it just feels like somethings making me push it harder? kinda hard to explain. ever heard of this? i havent changed anything or done anything different other than abusing my newly tuned car.

1995 honda civic with a y7/z6 head and a ex 5 speed.

its just weird cuase its always popped right into gear really nice and now that its tuned and ive been rippin it a little it just feels harder to move around in 3rd and 4th. by no means do i slam gears or anything, usually i just do a rip through rev limiter in either 2nd or 3rd

Just pull the linkage out and reinstall. I had this happen with my civic at the track. Linkage got all fubared and I thought I lost reverse after a burnout. Went home did a violent push to get the linkage to engage reverse and reinstalled the linkage. Problem went away
