Default Shift linkage

I'm assuming that you can only use 92-95 shift linkages in a 92-95 civic, but I found a set out of a 97 for cheap so I figured I'd ask (even though I'm pretty sure the answer is no). Will the 97 linkages fit in the 95 civic?

im not sure if the 97 linkage will fit perfect (dont know about newer cars) but i was sold a b-series shift linkage for my d-series set up, and it bolted up but the linkage rubbed so i just had to cut off some of the linkage(the back part) and now it works ....so if it doesnt fit you MIGHT be able to make it fit by shaving a lil of the linkage off
