Default RPM problem????

Ok, When driving and trying to rev past 3k the tach starts to jump like crazy like it dosnt want to go past 3k, after driving for a while it gets better but gets all jumpy when trying to pass 5k no matter what. Ive started to notice that the car will just die sometimes and other times when driving it will bog and jerk like it wants to die but I just give it gas to keep it going. I kindoff had the same problem before when my dizzy went out. Could it be the dizzy again its another used on w/10ok miles on it. The cars Idle is fine.

spec: Stock d16z6, just rolled on 100,000miles.

thanks

which ground could that be? Maybe the ground on the Ignition contol module or coil is loose.

the tach jumps around? does the engine RPM sound normal but the tach is messed? if so then the ignitor unit is shot.

Ignitor most likely, but check all 3 motor/tranny grounds also.
