rods/pistons go back into block ?

Default rods/pistons go back into block ?

ok...i need to put my rods back into my block...i know how to put them in but what i need to know does any specific side need to be facing a certain side...i know which one is 1,2,3 and #4 cause i have them numbered but i need to know if there is a specific side for exhaust and intake or if there both the same...i just took them out to clean them and now there clean they need to go back in...so let me know...thanks

there should be an arrow molded into the top of the pistons, that should point to #1 cylinder. hope that's what you where wanting.

no im talking about do the valve reliefs have to go a certain way...like there is the intake valve reliefs and the exhaust...do they have to be pointed to a specific side or can they be on any side since there clean now ?

ok, i thought i knew what you where talking about. but, if you put the pistons in, with the arrow pointing towards #1, then the intake reliefs will be on the intake side, and the exhaust reliefs will be ont he exhaust side. that's why they molded those in. that's what i was saying, but maybe i wasn't clear.
