Type R rods or Ls rods in d15 block

Type R rods or Ls rods in d15 block
Has anyone tried putting in type R rods in the d block I've heard of it with a little notch in the block
But the real question would be should I use an LS rod or type R rod just to beef up the bottom end because the stock d rods are weak I plan onn running no more that 15psi up to maybe 20 if it would take the heat on a stock d head and pistons

I am no expert, to me it seems it would cost more money to get those rods prep. to get them to work in a d series, than just investing in some eagle rods. plus you can live sleep a little better knowing the eagle rods, or whatever aftermarket rods you choose will be stronger than stock. any body else?
