swapping d-series parts

Default swapping d-series parts

is the block gaurd from a 87-89 integra able to fit into a d16a6 motor? how about the oil pump? are there any benifits from doing this swap?

block guard wont fit, but the pump might, no benifit though....


Stock pumps are more than adaqute for the engine.

the reason why i was asking is because i want to build my block up. i was at the junkyard and pulled out the pistons in the 1g integ, thus had to take off the block girdle(typo before). is the block girdle able to fit into the d16a6? is it any bigger, and worth doing if it does fit?

u call that engine build up? those parts are prolly worse than what the A6 has.
