Yup, it's in my bookmarks.
If I could find some h23 pistons/rods, I would definitely buy them.
The compression on the engine was about average as far as h22's go. Most JDM H22's are just about the same. 1-4; 205-210-210-220. That's what makes me thing the pistons are still good.

Took it apart and found the gears broke into about 7 pieces.

Like I said the pictures may make them worse then they are. Try some scotch brite to clean them up. If you feel deep grooves on the wall of the pistons I wouldnt use them but if its all you have well they will work just wont be the way i would do it. Me before I got paid to do this ---- says ---- it run it

I'm getting a set of JDM H22 pistons for CHEAP. Hello 12:1 compression 
I'll probably end up getting a .052" cometic head gasket to lower it a bit.
I'm also getting a set of brand spanking new ACL Race bearings for FREE from the same guy that's selling me the pistons for cheap.
I'm trying to figure out the oil pump thing. I have a nearly new (10kmiles) f22 oil pump from Toga. I looked up part numbers on importperformanceparts.com and they showed the prelude's f22a1 has the same pump as the h22 does, but the f22a1 from the accord has a different pump. It would be another thing that explains why the f22a1 from the lude has 10hp more than the accords. But Honda shows the same part # for all f22a oil pumps, regardless of chassis.
You guys think using the f22a oil pump on an h22 is a good idea, at least for a short time while I save up for an OEM h22 pump?

my h22 has ~230ish across all 4, but above 200psi should be good either way.
I know bigdaddyvtec says don't do it....but if it fits it should hold up N/A with minimal abuse. But if ur putting the h23/f22 crank in with the h22a pistons....i would keep an eye on oil pressure, and make sure u don't rev the **** out of it.
Do u feel any scratches when u run ur nail down the sleeve?
Make sure u get all the shavings out of the block...
Is there a way to check the oil squirters for shavings? or are they filtered somehow?
