Same thing with accord a20 engines, bullet proof as all hell, cast iron block strong as F... Stock rods good to 400+hp... Still you see rods thru the oil pan on these engines too, mostly people overreving/running them out of oil etc/overheating its usually neglect or serious abuse that make a20 and f22 break. The only thing i dont like about the f22 is that somtimes they use TONS of oil (1qt=200mi) from bad rings, even then they still run good except they eventually crack an exhaust valve.
