check valve timing.

you rebuilt it, or just tore it apart and put it back together?

u got the spark plugs out?

The thing should naturally be a bitch to work with when it's fresh.. can you reverse it instead?

The bearings being .25 over should be checked for clearances. I hate all that bullshit, but it sounds like your unsure of what's really going on with the bearings.

New rings? Anything?

Plastigauge is your friend, and you can have the head on, but make sure the cams are out if you are spinning it over, and having the plugs out also helps

ya, i could crank mine over with a 1/2 drive socket wrench when it was fully together. when its fresh (without oil ALL OVER) it can be hard.

you guys wont belive what a dumb ---- i am sometimes. the reason my ------- crank wasnt going a full turn was me being the bright dip ---- that i am i put socks in my two middle cyliders so nothing would get into them while i was working on the engine. GUESS WHAT I FORGOT TO DO! anyway i guess if doctors can leave towels in people, i can leave a sock in my engine. thanks god i took it apart and looked at it before i fired it. what a dumb ----!
