Default Rebuilding Vtec Head, Need Help.

I have everything for my Z6 head. I bought a ZEX cam and upgraded valve train. I plan on bringing the head to a shop and having the valve train redone. My question is, when i get the head back and place the new cam in there, what things to i have to do to make things work right. I plan on setting the cam and all that stuff in time, but i heard something called valve lash. The bottom line is that i wanna make sure that there is something that i'm not forgetting to do before i put the head on and turn over the engine.

Yes, you'll want to use feeler guages to perform a valve adjustment. Pick up a helms manual and it will give you a detailed step by step in the " Head - Removal and Installation" section that will include all the steps required to put the head on including the valve adjustment.
