really stupid question.. but I'm confused.

for the mpfi conversion i was told that a pm6 is camen.. but i was also told i could use a pm7 and pg7.. is it true that i can use a pm7/pg7 for the swap?

Think he meant common, but yeah, either the PM6 or PG7 will work fine for you. The PG7 will probably run a little richer, but thats alright.

Make sure when you get the pg7 if you do it's a 88-89. The 86-87 is pre obd0 and uses different style of distrubtor,etc.
