Yeah, Hitchhikkr is right. Unplug the distributor and you will have no injectors firing.

i recently found out that a chipped ecu will run on the stock maps even with J1 being connected if there is no chip.
i also had a guy in a bar once try to tell me that all cars squirt the injectors all at once. silly rednecks

Sequential and bank to bank modes are non existent. DURRRRR :1 :1

yes it was the 300z, I did a bunch of rewires back to sequential and they would pick up an extra 20 hp and with much better throttle responce. It had to do with the company saving less than 1 dollar on wire.
