Default non- priming fuel pump

Good day to all.

I got this jdm p08 that doesnt want to prime the fuel pump. Main relay is good so also the harness. In fact it works well with good ecu. Inside the unit's ecu, no visible burns, leaks whatsoever and the ecu doesn't throw any cel.

The thing is I got no signal coming off A7 (fuel pump relay). I think somewhere in the ecu is fried/dead. You have any info on how to repair this?

I was able to check this one but info is lacking. https://www.homemadeturbo.com/f10/ho...da-ecus-98549/

Any help is highly appreciated.

Is your ECU chipped? If so make sure the chip is not in backwards. The half circle mark on a chip that goes into an ECU should always point to the ECU connectors. I had this happen once when i put a chip in backwards in the dark oops

Had this problem even before the ecu was chipped so we had to hardwire the fuel pump so we can use the ecu. Had it chipped trying to troubleshoot the problem via chipping; guessed wrong. We were able to use the ecu for tuning and apply features like revlaunch but we guess the main relay problem is separate. Was trying to have more info on the qm3 part.
