Default Port and pokishing

I did a slight port and polish on my z6 head and now that I have it on it's running like it is missing. No power and slow response. Just wodering if I might have messed up the flow through the head. I know some people have done this on their own so wondering if this has happened before.

Would it still be able to run being a tooth off? It did this after running for a minute.

probably your timing....but How much did you take of the ports??
check the ports on www.theoldone.com at the article section...Cylinder head porting and analysis - D16.
that can help you out.
A bad P&P can cause your car to be slugish and not run to good.

The other thing is that I don't have the exhaust hooked up. My b16 header was longer. Do you think that lack of back-pressure could be adding to the problem?

Yeah its a tooth off. Unless you really changed your ports drasticly then you wouldn't have a problem. But if you did that might be it but most likely not. Check your timing.
