The stock honda ignition is good to like 400 horsepower so I am guessing the stock spark plug wires should be fine.

lots of people think differently about plug wires.
some say changing them to a different brand like morroso, msd, ext is the way to go. but others stick by oem wires saying there the best. its realy just up 2 you

in my personal experiance, i would NOT go with morroso wires....
im currently using msd(came with extra wire for external coil), but factory(oem) wires work great too
thats my .02 cents

If you want to get some nicer wires, stick with NGK. I belive thats what honda uses and they probley chose them for a reson.

Well if you can buy them from a store, the best way to tell whether the plug wires are going to be any better over factory is to test the resistance in them. You take an ohmmeter and put one end at the dizzy plug and then touch the other end and measure the amount of resistance.

Less resistance in voltage means more delivery of spark to the plug, and in turn it means that plug is going to hit harder.

But in my opinion Honda factory wires (which I buy from www.inlinefour.com) are perfect for everything. I replace mine about every 12,000 miles after going turbod.

no, the resistance on the wires doesn't seem to change that much until about 12,000 miles. Then they start to increase or decrease and they all don't average well enough.
