Default plz read:d15z1 help

okay ive got a vx 15.vtec-e and i fuked the 02 sensor ,so instead of paying $350 for a new 02 sensor i was thinkn of puttin a d15b (vtec) top end on instead.But will i need to change engine wiring for this mod .Cause i wana run a single wire 02.And will be using the d15b ecu.Will the comp be any higher cause its boosted.might have to throw a decomp plate if its gona be higher.

ps. 6psi intercooled rhb6

So instead of buying a new 02 sensor you are going to buy a new head and ecu and do a swap?

Yeah,It works out cheaper as i can get the parts for $200 .And lose the stupid vtec-e.

Just curious, is that the vtec motor making 95 horse or somethin? Also, what numbers are you making with that setup, and do you have any et times? Just wondering what your making witht that motor.

With stuffed o2 in limp mode i was running 15.6 @138kph

dont no power figures but stock is 92 hp at the flywheel

Hence engine conversion needed

if you put a z6 head or a d15b7 head on there you would get alot more power the pistons on the d15z1 are dished so they have low compression so with either one of those heads on you should be able to turn the boost up. i had one of those blocks laying around but i sold it wish i didnt kind of want to see how it would be. but yeah if you get another vtec head like the z6 or the 1.5l vtec head it should be straight forward
