parking brake light is always on?
don't know why, but it's always on...YES, even after I put the ebrake handle down...car still drives, but seems to pull to the right which would make sense (meaning the right rear brake is engaged) How do i find out for sure?
any suggestions?
thanks,
chris

Could also be the switch in the console for the e brake. It might be bad or have a short.

Re:parking brake light is always on?
this might sound dumb but make sure your brake fluid cap's put on right and you have fluid. Are there wires coming from the cap? wiggle them around a little. I had this problem a while back, the light would turn off sometimes, but pretty much stayed on. I made sure that I had the proper level of fluid, and messed around with the cap a little. Afterwards my light only comes on when my parking brakes up. Dont waste your time looking at the parking brake until you check out the fluid level in your master cylinder and make sure the caps on correctly. this is a common problem, and is almost always w/ the brake fluid level.

I doubt its your parking brake at all. If it was you would feel the car drag. when you start driving the rear end would sink down and just drag.
If you still think the ebrake is stuck then have some1 watch you drive. Go slow and see if the wheels are locked.
But my guess is the brake fluid level is low or the cap is not on right. Or, finally, the wires in the cap may be loose.
