it stops throwing codes by the time i come to a stop, the code is only there at the top of third, then goes away?

well then my ecu is fucked up then, cause the codes always go away? i was thinking it might be like a malfunction of the cel shiftlight on the ecu, which doesnt work in any gear, but comes on at 6k in 3rd?
