I was trying to install my nx ntercooler,but I ran into problems with WOT swictch. where do I install that? I think saw in a mag, a while ago installed on the throttle body, but the instructions say on the accelerator pedal, but no instructions how to. so can anone help?

 

mabey go to NX's web site it proably will say. Its one of the wires on the TPS, I dont remember witch color.

 

where exactly on the pedal do the instructions say it goes? most of them hook up to the tps.

 

i don't know ---- about the setup that you're using (or the engine) but most of the switches I've seen are around the throttle linkage and not the pedal.. this of course being on v8 motors with a carb.

 

you can put it anywhere you want.

i've always put my wot switches on the throttle body. make a bracket to hold the switch to where the throttle rotor hits it when fully opened. this is the easiest way i've found, because you don't have to try and position/wire/adjust a switch while standing on your head under your dash.

 

thats what I thought but the istructions they send me said it usually installed at the pedal, the website also said that... I know how to wire it but I was not sure where to install it, I read a while back in turbo mag, installation of the dei cooler and it was installed at TB. thank for the help.

 

You have to make a custom bracket to mount it on your throttle body. The throttle rotor should hit the switch when it is at WOT.
