Default Ntercooler???

I was just wondering if anyone has used the NX Ntercooler kit with their custom turbo setup?? I'm gonna be using a 14b and I heard that due to its size there is quite a bit of lag at low RPM's. Anybody know if this will be a sufficient way to offset that or of any other ways. Also, the kit has a solenoid which sits in the middle of a sprayer or condenser mechanism(whatever u wanna call it)that you mount on the front of a front-mount intercooler..my problem is i'm using a side mount Talon intercooler...anyone have any ideas Thanx for tha help...

I'm new to the game & have only driven my car which has a 14B. But I noticed a dramatic improvement over the stock engine at low rpms. I believe that the Mitsbishi 14bs R on the small side, so they actually have less lag. I'm sure that someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

there was a guy selling kits somewhat like the ntercooler kit but he made custom sized rings that went on the intercooler for any application. do a search on ebay and see if he is still selling them, i think they were only like $125 each for the whole kit

I think the benefits would be far greater if you injected the nitrous INTO the engine instead of ON the IC. True, you would have to add more fuel to account for the nitrous in the system, but you would also have to add more fuel with the Ntercooler setup as you would be getting a denser charge. hope that helps. I think it would be better to use a 30 shot injected into the engine than to spray the outside of the intercooler.
