start with boosting your stock engine...
then buy a "project engine" and build that.

the B20- junk to boost
the B18C5, to ------ expensive to buy
the B18C1, expensive to do it right...but very sexy when done right.

I'm going to look at the hatch tonight and I'll probably bring her home with me. The motor only has 46k miles on it, so I think I'm just going to boost it.

boost the stock motor if you wanna learn how to do it first. if you wanna get a swap and boost it, get and ls. great motor to boost and can handle a lot of power in its stock form.

Thanks everyone. I just looked at the hatch and I have a few questions. My stepdad took it in trade at his dealership, the lady who traded it in was the first and only owner. She gave him the orginal bill of sale, and it says "1993 Civic hatchback Si, green". I asked a few people and they said the Si's never came in the green, and a SOHC. I'm not too great with the Civic's specs. Can someone help me on this and can you tell me what motor is in the car? (see pic below, I couldnt see the code cause it was too dark)
The car is in great shape and runs perfectly, with only about 47,000 miles, and I'm going to get it cheap cause my step dad is the manager.

Here's a few pictures, tell me what you think. I'm supposed to get the car in a few days, but I just wanted a few questions answered.

Thanks again everyone.
