do you think that would even be worth messing with? looks like ill end up paying around 35-50 plus 100 shipping

 

i do have a professional mechanic in the family so i would be able to clean it up. just wanted an opinion on how salvageable it was

 

im sure its usable, but i would just find a ls shortblock fully complete for like 3 cents and run that.

 

get either a b16 or b18 and get it professionally sleeve. Forged internals...

 

make 300 plus on a stock internal ls/vtec.. trust me thats plenty of hp..

 

i agree - USDM blocks are getting very cheap and can handle more power - you would be stupid not to

 

its missing oil squirters, dont know how hard those are to find and knock sensor is broke me and my friend spent forever to find a good one.
