well i have a 99 civic hatch dx and it was automatic and i swap it to stick shift and my reverse light doesn;t turn on and i got a new reverse sensor and still doesn;t wanna turn the light. and my other question is my license lights don;t turn on either i check with the tester and check for power and is giving me power but it just doesn;t go to the bolt and i close the entrese and still doesn;t work. does any one here can give me some tips or show me some pics of what i can be missing.

on an auto, the reverse light switch is located at the shifter console, and on a manual, it is on the transmission

yeah dude and i change it but still doesn;t make the reverse light turn on dude. is there s fuse for the reverse light??

best advice you're going to get:

Download the manual for your car stickied above, or google it whatever just get one that has schematics.

Grab a multimeter and start tracing the circuit until you find the culprit.

There is a short, or a blown fuse, or a broken switch, or a loose wire somewhere in your car. Find it.

If you have any questions understanding the schematic, post a screen shot close up of the part in question and i'm sure someone will explain it to you.

last week, we had same problem but with Citroen Xsara car in shop, we had to check all wiring, was not good connected wire, checked and worked fine sensor, so i only say you, check wiring. since you replace with a new one sensor, fuse?

cause my tail lights turn on but not the license lights. and on my car i don;t have the fuse diagram from the interior. is any one here have it to see which one is the one for the reverse fuse and the one for the license lights.

well i fix the license lights already. all i need is to fix the reverse lights.
