NA: stock or lighten flywheel
which would be better for NA purposes, stock flywheel or lighten flywheel? i know that a lighten flywheel will give you a quicker response and make the rpms climb quicker, but i also heard for NA, you need the weight of the flywheel for torque?

all it becomes is reciprocating mass. lighter the better IMO.

The reciprocating weight of the flywheel helps keep the rotation of the motor going. From what I hear with a lightened flywheel/turbo/heavy clutch, when you let the clutch out it wants to grab the motor and "stop" it from spinning, which will make for a jumpy low end. That's what I hear anyway.

Re:NA: stock or lighten flywheel
I have a stock lightened flywheel....it's a bit jumpy at low rpm's...below 3K.
It has no torque at all below 3K and climbs slow below 3K...above 3K it's a monster.
I think it's because I have it in a already low torque D15 block and the rest from a A6.
