I am also wondering about the pistons. Maybe I'll just go with some forged ones.

 

get ARP rod bolts... Its almost a must in LS/Vtecs with stock rods. Dont wanna stretch stock rod bolts (more spun bearings) Oil pressure isnt usually a problem PROVIDED that you upgrade to a vtec B series oil pump.

 

true about the oil pump, I've never had oil issues with my ls/vtec or my bro's and our customer's we've built them for as long as you have a "genuine" VTEC oil pump. other wise "Buh~Bye" Replace the bearings while your in there.... and DEFINATELY get some ARP's. Don't believe me....? just look at my avatar... Not sure now if I should throw in the towel on my second one yet?
