nice, i'm still in a&p school but i'll be done in about 6 months, but i work at gulfstream on the weekends, I know what you mean by stuck screws, I also carry a tube of that ---- with me in my bag

use a ------ chisel.. well thats what i use on break-a-way bolts for ignition housings. chisel right there on the side of the head in the loosen direction

i guess i might be trying the chisel now... i just tried the valve grinding compound but the thread is too far gone. this is rediculous

try welding the most old beat up flat tip you can to the head. should work. then just grind off the weld and put a new tip on the screw driver.

They sell a smaller sized kit with 1/4 drive tangs like drill-driver bits. The inner teeth cut into the head of the bolt/screw. They've saved me a couple times.

your talkin on the bar end? i bet that sucks cause there made to sit flush.. sometimes i use my cordless drill, sounds stupid but if you set it on like half torque setting so it makes it sort of a weak impacting vibrating effect like a impact gun


bar ends are cheap on ebay anyways, just drill at that bitch

Finished with school just have to take the O&P's. Interned at Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, NE last summer on a Falcon team.
