oh simple, 4 easy steps...
1. clean the hole out
2. warm up the stud in the oven
3. fill hole with jb weld
4. now reinsert the stud (try to get it straight)...and give it a day to cure!

i was gonna say helicoil... the only thing with that is after tapping for the coil.... it might be a challenge getting the metal filings out of the hole.... i guess it could be vacuumed from the block....
but if you are trying to be quick about it the jb weld will work also...

so i dont detect any sarcasism on the jb weld thing does it really strength the block threads? and alot of you have done it? and you just do it to every hole? sorry for the questions i just want to get in over my head
i've definitely seen the jb weld method work before on stripped threads before.... bot not for a head stud..... I would think the safer, more correct way would be to get a helicoil kit... it will re-thread your existing thread and should be more of a guaranteed fix.
