I have the larger of the oilpan, where you need their pickup. Works for me. I even had my car fall off the jackstand onto my jack and it put a large dint into the pan. Hammered that bitch back to flat and still works.

there are 4 locations on the oil pan that the honda service manual, haynes chilton helms recomend using hondabond or silicone sealant on or you will leak.
they are the points where the main seal cap, and the oil pump joined the block. maybe thats why you have problem leaking.
