Re: Moroso Oil Pan yes or no?
i say NO
i have one and i dont use it..
They are great for American cars, but there import pans are garbage from personal experiance
It wouldnt seal properly against the block, and the pre tapd oil return, and oil temp always leaked, even after i Teflon/ and tried pipe dope.
And the ------- oil pan nut leaked unless i put a nylon washer on every time..
IMO stock is fine, *** moroso

Re: Moroso Oil Pan yes or no?
I've been running one for years, check my build thread.
the one I use require moroso pickup forgot the part number.
the one my other 2 friends use require a stock pickup
never had a problem with them
I retapped mine to put the return in the middle when I had a ramhorn manifold.

Re: Moroso Oil Pan yes or no?
I say a stock pan works just fine, especially if if you are cheap like some people. more expensive pan plus you need 1.5 quart extra oil and not to mention if you use synthetic whew!
I was sold on the add that it keeps the oil in the pickup during hard axcelleration and and cornering. the pickup is in the sump area so it makes sense. plus even when you are low on the dipstick you still have enough oil to not blow up.
