so is there a way to move the oil stick
or is there another oil pump i can use on a y5 block thats good
all i hear is Y pumps are crap and why?
what if i was to use a d16a6 block would that be better then y5 block?

Did you end up stripping out the block? :P GSR head bolts on any ls/vtec combo...no matter if you have a b16 head, gsr head, or type-r. And why downgrade from a b-series to a d?

wrong, use all 88-95 bolts, when putting a Y head on an 88-95 block use 9 88-95 bolts and 1 Y bolt.

i had to sell the motor for a new car my car was totled and the motor was fine.
as for the gsr head studs there were fine they worked perfect.

88-95 block use 9 88-95 bolts and 1 Y bolt.
where does the one Y bolt go?

there are oilpump mods for the obd2 oilpump.
the reason it sucks is because it doesnt flow as much as the obd1 or z6 oilpump.
but here are the mods.
