is it posible to buy a 50mm hex socket? maybe ill try to make one? still cant get it off, all because of my water pump damb it. the good thing it that when the waterpump went the oildrain went too so im kinda lucky i gues. thanks guys

I went through the same headaches with my pulley, so i said the hell with it and went out and paid the $60 for the removal tool from snap-on. I've used it 3 times so far for myself, and whenever i hear of anyone else that needs their's removed, i charge 'em 10 bux to go and remove it for em. Made more than my money back on it.

i've seen them made with the socket and a pipe welded to it. The center hole has to be bored out to allow the 17mm socket through.

I just ordered the snapon tool, hope that works. im getting kinda pissed off now. thank for the advice guys.
