Default Ls bottom end + Gsr Block

I dont know if this has been covered, i searched.I just obliterated my built turbo gsr bottom end. The only things i could scavenge were the je pistons, head, and block. Is the gsr block compatable to recieve a Ls bottom end? My plan is to install a LS crank, shotpeened LS rods with ARP rod bolts, and top them with jdm ITR pistons.I thought by using a vtec block i would have the oil squirters to cool the bottoms of the pistons and wrist pins which would let me rev to at least 8k rpm pretty safe and also the LS rods are lighter and longer than the gsr rods alowing a faster rev with a longer stroke. There would also be no block or wiring modifications.Am i on a good track here? I really need input on this.BTW im goin all motor now with a small shot of NAWZ so i have a complete hmt kit for sale or TRADE.

Wow! How could you obliterate a built bottom end? Unless you didn't sleeve it, then it's possible...

i spent approx. 2500 building the engine with eagle h-beams,cyl brace,je pistons, blah, blah, blah, and piecing together a hmt that was a piece of art.All that time (about 2 years),money and TLC came down to a $5 dollar valvoline oil filter.I was boosting about 13 psi. on my oh------o-meter and my oil light came on. I pulled over and my BLOX mani was GLOWING red.I knew it was over......Ill get in depth with this story later . right now i need a little info for my new High compression setup, Thanks.

question answered thanks to team integra. You have to have the oil squirters removed and the block notched to have crank clearances.I will be using a stock gsr crank, shotpeened rods and p30 pistons with a gsr head.If anyone is using a similiar combination please share your info and power output.Thanks.
