Ls in a 96 civic ex?? Jeff someone please help!
I have a 96 Ls in a 96 civic ex, I used the stock ex wiring harness. I tried to start it on the Ls ecu and it was a no go, I used the ex ecu and it worked but like ----, it just reved like to 4,000 and i just turned it off. I think I need to rewire it to to the ls plugs. I have the ls plugs and I was wondering if it would be easyer to change the pin outs on the ex plugs or just wire it to the Ls plugs? PLEASE HELP! Thanks.

hmm, you should be able to use the EX harness if I recal, and use the obd2 LS ecu.. My knowledge with OBD2 swaps is pretty slim, I would definatly try honda-tech for this one.

Its stick and always has been. It doesnt idle at all Its just constant rev at like 4,000. I just built the motor from scratch, do you think it might have to break in a little, like get some oil where the asembly lube is? I only had it on for like 5 sec. and i got scared and turned it off. Please help.

Is your IACV broke? That Would do it. If The moror dodent have it working proberly it wont idle worth a ----. vaccume lines will cause a little of it and gaskets to the throttle body, thorttle cable might be too tight ETC
