Default Help us identify this turbo please? Jeff? Beau?

Hey guys, we have a customer with a turbo, where the oil drain connection appears to be a very large female inverted flare style. The exhaust inlet flange is the retangular port, and the exhaust outlet is one of the five bolt type.

Here are some pictures....

We are trying to figure out what the original application was for this turbo, so the customer can locate an OEM style fitting for the drain flange. We would be happy to hear any constructive input on you guys might have!

Thanks for your help!

I've never seen a fitting like that. I have no idea what car it's from, but if you can't figure it out jb weld is your friend.

it is just a T3 with a dumb fitting in it. the inverted flare fitting likely has an NPT fitting on the other side (into the turbo) I'm 99.99999% sure that a stealthmode T3 kit will work perfectly for that, just tell him to take that stupid fitting off.

it was prbably somebody who was useing a steel feed line from the back of a coke machine/refrigerator or something.

Does it really look like that huge inverted flare part is removeable? The standard T3 drain flange is over two inches long. It doesn't look like there a a flange surface of that length, anywhere on the center housing.

We have asked the customer to forward that info to us, so we can get it to Garrett for deciphering.

I was just hoping that some of you guys had experience with this one, and could provide good ideas oh what he can do for a quality drain solution.

Not that there is anything wrong with JB Weld, Kyle!

Looks like a Garrett T28, probably something off a Silvia (nissan) or something. Thats not a T3 inlet flange on that exhaust housing either.
