Loose shifter

Most people know I'm anti-short shifter due to the extra wear on tranny...........

Once you learn the leverage and SLOW your hand movement down (same shaft speed at the tranny) you'll be ok.

That beind said, I suggest the Edelbrock unit, uses bronze "oillite" bushings instead of rubber O rings.

MY only complaint is reaching for 5th gear. But that is a issue with my body and seat position, not the shifter.

When I bought mine, the cheap B&M and Edelbrock were $59.99 from Jegs. I was at their store, picked one up.

i use two large washers one on each side of the shifter. always works for me
