Default a little confused. engine harness and distributor help.

im droping my built obd1 b16a into ym obd2 gsr. i have a obd2 vtec dist, but i knwo since my motor doesnt have the obd2 crank angle sensor, i cant run it.

i am going to buy a obd1 vtec dist and was going to run a obd2 to 1 convo harness.

heres where im confused. do i run the obd2 engine harness and repin it with obd1 dist plugs, or do i buy a obd1 vtec engine harness, or what. if i run the obd1 engine harness do i still need the conversion harness?? any info would be helpful.

cliffnotes, i want to run a obd1 motor and distributor in my obd2 gsr. do i repin ym obd2 plugs with obd1 ones and run the convo harness, or what do i do, this is just confusing me.

hes right, the conversion harness should grab the crank sensing from the dizzy, obd cars use 2 crank sensors. one in dizzy, one on crank.
