yes i know that dyno numbers and flywheel hp are different but the true numbers are the dynos.. since the power is what is put to the ground with the transmission loss!!

also seen a mazda mp3 with 130 hp dyno 115 hp... and that's a 2.0L motor

i guess i'm trying to say is... there's not enough power coming out of the motor with such a displacement number...

That's because the 130hp F22s are non V-tec, and the full HP and TQ are there around 5krpm and 4krpm respectively compared to 7k-8k+ rpms of V-tec civic engines for their full rated power. So unless your driving your Civic at 6k+ rpm(or whenever V-tec kicks in) the whole time your 197hp B18c5 is only pushing about half that HP and even less TQ. The point being, they're completely different engines built for different purposes. F22s have better pick up power and the civic engines have higher top end power.
