I picked up a B20 FREE!!!!
 

;D ;DI just got a used B20 complete motor with head for free!!! (The head is no good..timing belt broke, but bottom end is usable) Now, of course, I need to figure out if I can use this block with my B16 head. The block says B20A5 on it and they told me it's out if a 91 prelude. Does anybody know if I can use this block to make a LS/VTEC...CRVTEC style setup?

here is what you do

make sure the block is very clean, pull down your pants, and ---- on it...it's not worth a damn thing. try to sell it on ebay or something...

that was the worst motor honda ever made for so many reasons...the r/s is bad...the bearings are shitty...just not worth the effort.

dude....the b20a5 is out of an 89 prelude SI....i know...i used to own one of those things....low end power sucked but high end was decent....i raced the hell out of that thing...i beefed it up as much as i could....but still couldnt get much out of it...i was thinking of boosting it but 6 pounds on a motor isnt much...when i want power...i want #'s up in the high teens or low 20's....but the guys are right...just throw it away...use it as a giant paper weight...---- on it...donate it...keep it round the garage for looks to impress ppl u have spare motors laying around...just dont show it to a person who knows hondas....they will laugh then...but ur best bet is to try and find a sucker and sell it to them for like 100 bucks...or what ever u can get out of it....good luck gettin rid of it....id give u a buck for it...thats bout it...lol....well lata

LMAO, sorry man, but those motors are just crap.. they dont even deserve the "B" series title they dont interchange with any B-series parts, and they have a longer stroke than a middle aged black man. ;)

sorry to laugh man, 1 person i know of put a b16a head on a b20a5 but its REALLY not worth the trouble

i say sell it to a scrap yard for its weight in aluminum....

maybe take it apart and hang the parts on your garage walls to for decoration

that block aint worth ----....

go on ebay and put it for auction with the title b20 ls/vtec

take a couple pics and put it up for like 100-150 bux. some dumbass will buy it.
