hybrid d series help please
hey there, im new to the forum and would much appreciate some help
im from New Zealand so dnt hold tht against me and all my parts are JDM
i currently have a D15b vtec in my car but too much boost saw this motor give up.
ive found a new motor that is a D16y i belive (1600 non vtec out of civic EG)
what i want to know is can i bolt my vtec head to this block and still be alright for a turbo set up, ie will this increase comp. ratio or decrease it? will the head bolts etc me the same and where do i tap an oil feed for the vtec solinoid from?
ill have a better idea of what happens when i pull the engines apart but wouldnt mind some one elses previous knowlege to aid me.
any help woud be apreciated, i tried searching but cant find anything that makes too much sence
thanks
Tom

there is an oil jet between # 2 and 3 cylinder on the firewall side. take it out to allow oil to the vtec solenoid.
