tell me what you think of my plan. im planning to built an all motor eg hatch.

1. d16y8 block (c/r ration is near 10:1?) with block posting
2. d15b head for better flow and VTEC( port and polish
3. thin metal head gasket
4. resleeve the block and honed
5. 365cc or 450 cc injectors with vafc
6. over sized 70mm to 80mm T/B
7. p30 ecu higher cut off


how much hp do guys think it will make tuned?!
what will be the C/R ratio of the engine with the d15b head?
expected ET 1/4 mile on a eg hatch no interior ?
any suggestions?

 

I think you should just turbo your car.

 

agreed...just use a sohc vtec motor and just turbo it...---- *** that N/A high compression ----...your not really gonna make all that much power out of an all motor D series....sorry for all you D series lovers out there but B series is the ----...i gave up D series for the extra dollars of a B series...if you want all motor go buy a b16 or make an LS/VTEC or a CR/VTEC or something....

yah i know. but i already built 2 si b16a turbo, 1 d16z6 turbo. i cant ask anyone to race me because its forced induction. thats y i want to make a d series sleeper.

any suggestions?

 

www.cspeedracing.com might be able to help you find compression, but I don't know if it's only b series or what and I don't care enough to go check myself

 

how about a ZC?

 

i check cspeedracing nothing there.

i dont have a zc on hand. i want to make do with what i have.
