well, as expected, i got raped :P my brakes had been squealing for three days, my tires hadn't been rotated in over 8k miles, and i just couldn't take it anymore, i finally went to the biggest rim/tire shop in my city, and told them to do whatever they had to do, order a key, hammer a socket on them, drill them, cut the rims off, i don't give a ----, get them off. so they said "yeah, we have a key", me: "i was just in here a month ago and you guys couldn't help me" them: "we ordered a key b/c you're about the fourth person in a month with this proble" me: "sweet, problem solved" them: "bend over mother ****** because here it comes " 40 bucks for them to use a key that they had to remove my lug nuts, yeah that's right 40 bucks for 4 minutes worth of work, oh wait, it gets better, they only have one key for themselves so of course i can't reuse the same lug nuts or i'll be in the same boat as i was 10 minutes ago, so 40 bucks for some new lugnuts also, yep, 80 bucks total. then to top it off, i get home finally being able to change my brakes (i had some pads for about a month that i got off ebay), wrong ------- pads! so i had to go to advance auto parts to buy some new pads for 30 bucks. that was 120 plus tax that i didn't plan on spending :P

That's not too bad. Think of it this way, I could have been worse. You're alive, aren't you? :-)

I know that isn't helping, but hey, I tried.

that's why I don't b puttin rims on my car or buying new cars.

you should have gone all ghetto on it and just cut a groove in there, but no, you had to get all professional on us. Looks like my respect meter for you has leveled out, time for you to do something good.

oh snap! i'm a couple of posts too late... well Sears they have a tool that works awsome for that type of situation... basicly its a socket type thing with left hand sharp grooves inside, snap that on a impact gun and go to town!

by the way i have the same lug nuts mine are made by Gorilla nutz or somethinglike that... i forget the exact name.
