hey guys my tranny makes a whining noise in 1st and 2nd gear a little bit when i get on it. i had a crx Si 5-spd tranny that the syncro track belw/fell off as i pulled out of work a month ago. it made the same whining noise. i have a 4-spd on it now. and the engine is a D16z6 89 crx Si engine.. gimme some info

the d16z6 is not the crx's stock engine;
unless you have an uber special crx or someones not telling me something..

yea im a retard. its a D16A6
but if thosde imput bearings go out. will that cause disaster?

and my Si tranny that blew a month ago, when the car was in nuetral. and i let the clutch out the car would go forward, but if ide gas it it would stall.. and the only gear that would ingage was reverse. all others would go up in but not stay locked/grabbed. expain that one.. i really want to put the 5-spd back in cause 4 spd kida sucks..

Common on all l3 trannys, input bearings whine, either drive it until it gets so annyoing you cant handle it, or just replace the tranny. To much time/money to just go in there and replace the bearings.

mine did the same thing. now i run an open downpipe, so i cant hear it

My d tranny whines really really really friggin bad when i let of the gas in first to let the engine slow me down.
