Anyway i can get your email to send you some pics. Probably make more sense to you....looks like the extra wire could plug into my current ECU if I remove 1 plug....if i do this the car wont start....Also looks like the loose plug does not go to the engine..im at work so I couldnt dig too much but doesnt look like it goes to the engine harness...

youll need to get a ohm meter and see if there is any conectivity from the VSS to the spedo. you may need to rewire it. the other gauges work off the connector that is on the drivers side of the car where the injectros and ---- ground to. so it is msot likly a wire that is busted or your spedo is busted.

Guys I really appreciate the help. I replaced the VSS and still no speedo, I traced wires from the ECU to the VSS and all looks good....VSS checks out but, I found a place to inspect my car...they could not connect to my ECU with the OBD connector. Could not establish communication....I think there are some serious issues with my harness and its probably beyond help. I had to hook my fuel pump up to an ACC power wire to run the car and my fans are on a switch. Its all jacked up so Im tagged and legal and the tickets have been dismissed so all is well for another year....one day I will rip the harness out of the dash and figure out whats going on but not anytime soon...thanks for the help!!
