have a question about the oil pressure senser

Default have a question about the oil pressure senser

i was throwing in some gauges today i ran into a problem, i was wondering if i took out the stock oil pressure senser and used that port for my oil pressure sending unit , would that cause any problems or will that work just fine let me know thanks.

it will work fine, but you'll need a 1/8" BSPT adapter. To keep the stock idiot switch and the aftermarket gauge..........



If your using a electric sender, mount it to the firewall.

any reason for this, or asthetic reasons only?

btw.. the only problem you will encounter with disconnecting the stock oil sensor is you will have an oil light on the dash at all times. you could just pull the bulb out tho.

lol maybe thats why mine is not accurate to any sort of pressure!
