yes my camaro has a nice 396 in it now, it fits fine and as to the camber Q, the added weight and the direction of tilt will cause some camber problems but with the correct mount kit it shouldent be a big issue but it DOES exsist.
Lets do a small prce comparison. i am using www.hmotorsonline.com as a source for both motors to be fair. i know they are not the cheapest dealer but they area stable dealer.

And you stil have to buy the mounts an fabricate the A/C bracket to get that to work. even with a lesser H22, this one lists at the bottom what the extra charges are for the mount kit ---- linkages and axels.

H22A 92-95 Complete Change Over

* If you need a motor mount kit for your 1992-2000 civic, we can supply you with the hasport kit for $490. Prices valid with purchase of a complete changeover only. Also available is the correct axles for swapping this motor into a civic. 90-93 Integra axles and 90-93 Accord Intermediate shaft can be included for an additional $200 (please note that stock H22 axles will not be included if you opt for the civic axle combo).

so all in told $2889 for this swap with the correct axels and mount kit. I would proberly go with the B18c1 and get LSD and have an easier swap particularly if its your first swap. If this is not your first swap do what you think would be good and at your level. I have to agree with jeff, h22/3=boat anchor, but do waht you want, its a large chunk of change to be playing with unless you know what the hell you are doing.

PFI in Fort Collins, CO has a turbo H22A in their shop CRX pushing 720 whp.

Am I impressed? ---- no, they've spent at least 80 grand on that car in the past 4 years.

Let's see; 4 to 5 years ago people were saying "B series in a Civic or CRX, you'll have to cut & weld the motor in your car + it will cost like 8G's for a shop to do it + you have to rewire the entire car!!! Dude go with the ZC it bolts right in and only costs $400 (that was back in 1998-1999)

Then Hasport and other companies started making swap kits from 2000-2002. People have abandoned the ZC because of its mistery parts and wiring problems. Now you see just as many B16's in Civics as you saw ZC's in their cars back in 1999. Then the same guys were saying "Dude don't go TypeR, it costs too much. Go with LSVTEC and you'll run 12's" We all know how reliable that motor is.

Now 2003 the CRVTEC, GSR, and TypeR swaps are becoming very popular. Same guys again saying "Dude and H22 weighs more than your entire car and it will steer like you have an elephant on the hood!!! + it leans the wrong way so you will have mount issues!!!" NOT ANYMORE!!! Thanks to PlaceRacing, Hasport and other companies we are now able to fit the Honda Bigblock into our cars with no problems by buying their mount kit.

I bet by 2005 you will see more H22's in Civics because of popularity, technology, and the need for speed. Dude, don't jump on the band wagon; do the H22 swap and show everyone how BIGGER IS BETTER!!!

No, I don't have and H22 swap; but I do have a B18B1 T3T4 turbo setup in my 87 CRX Si. Trust me, you will be happier with the H22 over any other Honda block.

just my .02

Yes, thats right lets completely ignore the fact that people are experiencing problems with axle snaps because of the weight distribution.

No one is making ------- axles for this swap that I have come across yet.
