Widebody, I can and have done it in the car. the absolute easiest way of doing it is, Take the cams out or loose wichever you choose, put the the tensioners on it and then put the belt on it. have the cams lifted up on the dizzy side and slide the belt on, then push the cams down and check the tension. if you need to adjust it, just lift the cams back up and adjust the tensioner and test it again. Simple yet effective.
