i had to look at "fast *** guy" for awhile before i got it it would be sick, i guess if it was a first gen miata, it wouldnt be SO bad. But i just hate miata's

My buddy swore to me today that his D-series turbo honda at 15lbs w/ a T3/T4 would murder a 5.0 miata. I told him he was crazy.

who is that bernard? I got something for him. wait till bitburg track reopens. got these slicks sitting here collecting dust

buy the way running that much power in a miata you would prolly need slicks to get any traction at all.

maybe you could try an even smaller displacement v8, like one from the ford thunderbird, or one of the toyota ones (4 liter 1UZ-FE, or the 4.5 liter 1FZ-FE). or maybe a northstar, that would be really interesting.

the one from the thunderbird is smaller is displacement but bigger in size because of the bowed dual heads. The 302 is smaller than most V6's. I just got a hole setup

302sb w/ 5sp trans, harness, ecu Bonus: engine has a pwerdyne supercharger already attached with fuel management, cobra head, intake, cam bigger throttle bodie, mas sensor and injectors total:$3300

Are you doing anything to help the frame with all of that torque? I hope so...

Don't tell me you'd swap a solid axle in the back and kill the handling of it. The diff's miata's aren't that strong but 2g rx7 lsd swap in and are alot strong and handle quite abit of power.

you swap in a t bird diffwith limited slip i believe. If he is purchasing the "monster miata" kit, then it does come with frame reinforcements, a new front k member, rad, the list really goes on and on. its like a 9k kit. a lot of ---- has to be done to put that motor in that car.

i believe the smallest external size engine to use would be a 289 from the 60's mustangs. those things are pretty compact. Plus, if it was carbed, you'd probably eliminate a whole lot of wireing nightmare.. fuel pump relays etc. i was thinking about building one awhile ago when i had an extra Boss 302 engine (yes a real 69 boss 302). Back in the day i was a mustang guy, then i got a honda? dont ask how that happened. Well, i love turbos. thats how
