F22 cable shifter adjustment...
We just did a clutch install on my friend's 95 accord w/a f22b. We took off the little gear adjuster box that the shifter cables attach to and we must have fucked something up. THe adjuster box went on just as easy as it came off but now we only have 3rd, 5th and neutral...we can't even shift into anything else, its like they dont exist. Yes we did fill the tranny with fluid (seems like an obvious mistake someone might jump to). We're sending it to Honda tomorrow, but if someone could give me some info on how to adjust this bitch, let me know, thanks!

Re: F22 cable shifter adjustment...
the accord and prelude trannys is similar in setup, i had pretty much the same problem w/my prelude tranny. Try looking at the steel arm where the cable linkage actually shifts the gears, there should be a bolt in there that allows the gear box 2 change gears it breaks sometimes, a machine shop could do u a replacement 4 cheap... this could be the problem let me know...

The only thing I can think of is that you could by some crazy off chance have the cables crossed up..But I'm not even sure thats possible. I think the eye holes at the ends of the cables are differant sizez to keep that from happening but you could check it to be sure..I haven't messed with one in about 8 months. thaqts about all you can do to mess the linkage up though.
