LSD - prolly been covered...MistaBone chime in bro
so just reading around and seeing that lsd is becomming popular and looks to be a decent mod to any car
well what setups are people running? is OBX decent? i see them on ebay with this
*Automatic in operation
*Eliminates harsh torque steer and understeering characteristics of other types of LSD
*Gear operated (No plates to wear or break)
*Minimal maintenance requirements
*Lifetime warranty from manufacturer defects
so what is this minimal maintenance required meaning? is this something a guy in his garage can install??
any write ups ive missed??
thanks guys!

Re: LSD - prolly been covered...
minimal mantiance means you dont need to take it apart every 10k and replace clutches or tighten ----, etc...means you just throw that bitch in there, and change the oil regularly...

1. the hex bolts didn't seem to be evenly torqued out of the box. loosen them and retorque. i forgot what the spec was.
2. the factory bolts that hold the ring gear, hit the side of the lsd.
you have to change the bolts or grind very very little off the stock bolts or lsd so they go in straight.
