I have an oddball combination of engine and car and was wonering how i would go about finding out what engines would fit in it or if there is a way of working it out without having to find out the hard way

Basically i have a SOHC ZC in a 1997 Integra, it is a japanese model, but as the engine runs on carbs (i know, WTF?) i want to swap it for something with fuel injection, how would i be able to figure out what engine would fit. I dont want to have to buy aftermarket engine mounts.

I am also of the understanding that the civic and the integra use the same floorplan, does this mean that they use the same mounting points in the engine bay as well?

and i would work on gettin rid of the carbs first. that would be a bitch i would assume.

 

I'm considering all options at the minute but it looks like it has all the wiring there apart from injectors, map, tps and electronic control dizzy so i dont think it should be too difficult to just put the intake mani and ---- on there.

Although i would like to know about engine swaps as i have a spare DOHC ZC which would sit nicely in there and it 'looks' like it will go in there without too much trouble except there is no front mount on the tranny on the dohc zc
